The Department of Political Science is one of the largest Departments of Dhaka College which has a glorious past. Masters and Honours courses are introduced in the year of 1997 & 1998 respectively. From then a large number of graduates and postgraduates obtained their degrees. Many of them are engaged in various jobs in different government of non-government organizations. At present about 1400 students are studying in this department. A group of brilliant and dedicated B.C.S. (Education) Cadre officers are engaged as teachers in the department.
